Since Dry Island is a private estate, you may do as you wish in any clothing you choose on your vacation. If you prefer that the staff leave for several hours or days, just say the word and you will have the entire island to yourself.

Both the main and log house are fully air conditioned though it is cool enough to sleep with the doors and windows wide open. We are 1700 feet above sea level where a gentle mountain breeze is about you most of the time. Listen to the lonesome sounds of Loons as you drift off to sleep at night.
The Main House has three bedrooms: one with California King bed and two with queen-sized beds. Rustic, luxurious accommodations are available to sleep 10 people.
Firewood is cut and stacked ready for you at anytime. The caretaker will rebuild and prepare a new log fire for you each day
if you desire.
With gourmet meals, fine wines and more cocktails than you can shake a stick at, the gastronomic experiences here are guaranteed to delight.

A caretaker will gladly pick you up at the local airport should you fly commercial or private aircraft. It is a 15 minute drive from airport to their launch site. Cape Air is the only major carrier at the Adirondack Regional Airport located in Lake Clear. The smaller Lake Placid Airport is about 30 minutes drive to the east.
