The splendor of Guana Island’s nature will take your breath away, while the size of the island and the limit of 30 guests at a time ensures utmost privacy.
There are seven private beaches, some of which are accessible only by boat and offer the ideal setting for a very intimate and special picnic. A lush 850-acre Garden of Eden, richly endowed with tropical flora and fauna, Guana is a haven for many endangered species. A special guide is available for nature enthusiasts.
If you’ve always dreamed of having a Caribbean island all to yourself—if only for a little while you’ll be thrilled to know that Guana is available as an all-island rental for groups up to 42 people (give or take a few). The entire Island will be yours—every magnificent acre of it—for as long as you like. Customize every detail of your stay including the menus. Celebrate a special occasion or simply create the vacation experience of a lifetime.
Guests stay in large and airy stone cottages, each with a private terrace overlooking the sea and in a style linked to the history of the island, which was once a sugar cane plantation. There is a main house with a dining room, library and bar.
Sea View Rooms
Sprinkled along a scenic ridge with views of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, our Sea View Rooms offer the quintessential island hideaway experience each with its own private terrace. Breezy, cozy and comfortable, these classic Guana rooms are rustic-chic perfection.
North Beach Villa
Truly a world of its own, the one-bedroom North Beach Villa is the island’s only waterfront accommodation, surrounded by lush sea-grape trees, scenic terraces, and stunning natural beauty. The only house on North Beach, this exclusive retreat is just steps from the beach, where guests have been known to spend the entire afternoon collecting sea-shells.
Harbour House Villa
Set like a jewel atop the island, with panoramic views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean, Harbor House Villa is nothing short of luxurious. Available as a one- or two-bedroom accommodation, this air-conditioned house is discrete and elegant, with an enclosed Jacuzzi, infinity pool, outdoor shower and private dining area.
Sometimes a private island hideaway requires just little bit more space for friends and family or perhaps even a nanny or an assistant. Both Anegada House and Jost House are extremely spacious, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom properties with stunning, wraparound-terrace views and designer infinity pools.
At cocktail time, guests gather on the Sunset Terrace for drinks, then dine privately or join others on the terrace overlooking both the Atlantic and the Caribbean. Meals feature home-baked bread, island-grown fruits and vegetables, and of course the freshest of seafood.
Wellness & Beauty
A massage on Guana’s White Bay Beach is the perfect way to unwind. With nothing to distract you but the waves and a gentle breeze, you’re sure to find a new happy place as one of our skilled therapists indulges you with a full-body massage or special treatment. (If you prefer to be pampered in your own room, just ask.)
Swimming in the sea or the island’s private sea pool, diving, various water sports, sailing, fishing, tennis, golf, croquet, or just curl up in a hammock with a good book. The hilly island is also covered with paths beckoning guests to explore. Day-trips to the neighboring islands are recommended.
All year round. The hottest months are August and September, when daytime temperatures can average in the 90°s F (32°-38° C). There is more rain during the fall than at other times, but it is only ever brief, intense showers. June to November is officially the hurricane season, though it is usually still a fine time to go. Winter is about 5° F (3° C) cooler than the rest of the year, and sweaters are recommended for the evenings in the cooler months as trade winds blow continuously.
Fly to Tortola’s Beef Island Airport, where guests are met by a Guana representative. Afterwords a short taxi ride to the dock and a 10-minute boat ride to the island.
